We collect only the data necessary to provide and improve the service:
- Account information (email, user ID) for authentication
- Habit tracking data (habits you track, streaks, daily logs)
- App usage data used only to improve the product
We do not collect or store sensitive categories of data beyond what you choose to track in the app.
How We Use Data
Your data is used only for habit tracking and to deliver the service:
- To sync your habits and progress across your devices
- To show you insights and streaks
- To improve the app (e.g., fixing bugs, improving performance)
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising targeting.
Data Storage (Firebase)
We use Firebase (Google) for secure authentication and data storage. Your data is stored in Firebase and is protected by industry-standard security measures. Firebase helps us:
- Authenticate your account securely
- Store your habit and progress data reliably
- Keep your data available only to you
We do not have access to view or browse your personal habit data on a dashboard; it is used only by the app to serve you.
User Rights
You have control over your data:
- Access: Your data is visible to you in the app.
- Deletion: You can request deletion of your Holdo account and all related data at any time via our Data Deletion page.
- Correction: You can update your account and habits in the app.
Deletion requests are processed in a reasonable timeframe. Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.
